The cornerstone of the firm's practice is health care matters, business law and tort and commercial litigation. The firm's size, controlled overhead and centralized structure permits it to enter into creative fee arrangements with its commercial clients. Depending on the specific needs of the client, fees can be calculated on the basis of hourly charges or on a combination of reduced hourly charges and contingency fee. For business clients that wish to budget their monthly legal expenses for matters that arise during the ordinary course of their business, fixed monthly retainer agreements can also be established.

HEALTH CARE LAW. The firm handles health care matters for all types of businesses engaged in the health care area. Typical matters involve the purchase and sale of health care and medical companies, changes of ownership, state licensing matters, medicare and medicaid matters, including suspension of payments, and contractual matters. The firm also represents physicians and physician practices with corporate and partnership matters, including, but not limited to, formation of entities, shareholder and partnership agreements, contracts and employment matters.

BUSINESS LAW. The firm handles a variety of business law matters for all types of entities engaged in business in Florida. Typical matters involve the formation of business entities, including corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships. The firm will also assist with the preparartion of shareholder, operating and partnership agreements, contracts, asset purchases, commercial transactions, confidentiality and non-compete agreements, and the purchase and sale of corporations and all types of businesses.

COMMERCIAL LITIGATION. In the commercial litigation area, the focus of the litigation matters include bad debts, breach of contract matters, business disputes, collections, delinquent accounts, foreclosures and worthless checks. The firm routinely assists out of state entities and law firms in the collection of judgments obtained in foreign jurisdictions against Florida based debtors.

TORT LITIGATION (PERSONAL INJURY). In the tort litigation area, the firm concentrates in the areas of personal injury and wrongful death stemming from auto accidents, boating and watercraft accidents, dog bites, defective products, medical malpractice, motorcycle accidents, premises liability and slip and falls. The firm is also very experienced in personal injury cases involving children, including settlement structuring as well as the handling of all necessary guardianship formalities normally required with the conclusion or settlement of minors' claims. Mr. Suarez's experience includes having acted as insurance defense counsel in litigation involving accident liability claims for individuals and corporations insured by a major national insurance company. Consequently, the firm has an excellent understanding of the claims examining process and the manner by which insurers value liability claims and litigation. All personal injury cases are handled on a "contingency fee" basis. This means that the client does not have to pay the firm any fees or costs unless and until such time as a recovery is made on the client's behalf.

REAL ESTATE. The firm handles real estate matters including residential and commercial purchase and sale transactions, title insurance, lease transactions, and mortgage and security agreements. The firm represents a number of condominium and homeowner associations in matters involving lien enforcement and foreclosure proceedings.

BANKRUPTCY. The firm provides bankruptcy representation to individuals and business clients facing mounting debt and/or foreclosure. In addition, the firm also provides bankruptcy representation to creditors.
